Standard Weight Forged Series
Here's an incredibly strong connecting rod, designed to take substantial abuse-while keeping the budget racer in mind. Forged from certified aircraft grade alloy steel, these rods are precision machined-held to the same strict sizing and final tolerances as our premium billet rod. A maximum of 7,600 RPM is recommended. These rods are delivered with OLIVER/ARP 8740 chrome moly bolts.

Super Light Forged Series
A lighter version of our popular Standard Weight connecting rod. These rods are strong, light, and forged from the same certified aircraft grade alloy steel as our Standard Weight Series and to the same sizing and tolerance specifications as our premium billet rod, while still keeping the budget racer in mind. 7,400 is the maximum recommended RPM. These rods are delivered with OLIVER/ARP 8740 chrome moly bolts.

Choose from 7 specific styles

The OLIVER I-beam connecting rod features an exclusive "Parabolic Beam" design that reduces beam stress and delivers the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any connecting rod currently available.

All rods are precision machined using only premium mill certified aircraft quality E4340 chrome moly alloy billets, heat treated to produce a 100% martensite grain structure. Continual inspection, statistical process control, batch sampling and fatigue cycle testing assure the delivery of the finest product obtainable. Batch matched individual, replacement rods are in stock.

Ultra Light Series

Designed for use in All Pro series type cars equipped with 350ci engines, with 9:1 compression ratios and 390cfm carburetors where RPM in the 8,200 range maybe encountered. Light, 430gm pistons are recommended. OLIVER/ARP 7/16" WSB bolts are included.

Limited Series

Created for use in applications like the NASCAR late model sportsman series where the rules allow only unported cast iron heads, 3.480" stroke and 2-barrel carburetor. Light pistons and pins are recommended. 3/8" 0LIVER/ARP2000 bolts are featured.

Super Speedway Series

Use this rod in high RPM endurance racing like the Nextel Cup, IMSA WSC Series and severe duty late model dirt cars where large cubic inch motors see a wide variation of RPM and loads. OLIVER/ARP 7/16" WSB bolts are included.

Big Block Series

Use in all but the most extreme big block applications. Delivers superior strength through design-NOT bulk. This 6.135" rod weighs only 800gms. Perfect for use in Super Modified pavement and rat motor drag cars. OLIVER/ARP 7/16" WSB bolts included.

Big Block-Max Series

Engineered for use in BB-Supercharged, endurance motors like blown alcohol hydroplanes where 8,200 RPM and 1,400 hp are common. OLIVER/ARP 7/16" WSB bolts are included.

Standard Weight Series

Our most popular billet connecting rod. Used in applications ranging from late model stock cars, NASCAR Nextel Cup, Busch Grand National series and 410ci sprint cars. OLIVER/ARP 7/16" WSB bolts are included.
